Google Flow Pricing: Free Access, Plans and Credits

Compare current free access and Google AI plan credit allocations without confusing plan price, credit balance and generation cost.

FlowTool EditorialVerified Jul 28, 2026

Answer summary

Google Flow currently offers limited daily credits without a subscription and larger monthly allocations through Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra. Plan prices vary by country and offer; verify the local Google plan page before subscribing.

Google Flow pricing at a glance

Google Flow does not use a single standalone global subscription price. Access and monthly allowances are connected to Google AI plans, while the price shown to you can vary by country, currency, taxes and current promotion.

The most useful stable comparison is therefore the current Flow credit allocation, followed by the local price shown in your Google account.

Current Flow credit allocations

Checked against Google’s official credit page on July 28, 2026:

Account or planCurrent Flow credit allocation
No Google AI subscription50 credits per day
Google AI Plus200 credits per month
Google AI Pro1,000 credits per month
Google AI Ultra $100 plan10,000 credits per month
Google AI Ultra $200 plan25,000 credits per month

Is Google Flow free?

Google currently says users without a Plus, Pro or Ultra subscription receive 50 Flow credits per day. Those free credits:

  • Can currently be used for Veo 3.1 Lite, Fast and Quality generations.

  • Refresh after the next day is reached following the first generation.

  • Do not roll over when unused.

  • Are forfeited and replaced by the monthly allocation if you upgrade.

“Free” therefore means a limited daily allowance, not unlimited generation.

Subscription Flow credits refresh at the start of the billing cycle and unused monthly Flow credits do not roll over. Google also distinguishes Flow credits from separately purchased AI credits, which can have their own expiry terms.

Eligible subscribers in supported regions can purchase additional AI credits. Google notes an exception for Japan on the current help page.

Why credits are not the same as videos

Credit costs are per generation, not necessarily per prompt request. A product action may create more than one generation. A practical estimate should include:

  1. The active model and duration.

  2. Number of outputs requested.

  3. Expected retries.

  4. Editing and upscaling costs.

  5. A buffer for rejected or unusable results.

Use the detailed credit guide for the current per-generation matrix.

How to choose a plan

Choose by workflow rather than the largest headline allowance:

  • Use free access to understand the interface and test low-volume ideas.

  • Consider Plus when you need a small predictable monthly allocation.

  • Consider Pro only after estimating realistic generation and retry volume.

  • Consider Ultra when its higher allowance and supported premium features match a recurring production workload.

Do not subscribe solely because a third-party page quotes a monthly price. Confirm the local price, current included credits, available models and renewal terms in your account.
